Job Description
Mental health education, research, and practice are at the forefront of this pivotal academic leadership role. As an Associate Professor, you will shape the future of mental health in Australia and beyond.

Key responsibilities include delivering exceptional teaching and curriculum design, championing innovative learning technologies, and leading scholarly teaching and impactful research aligned with mental health priorities. You will also provide academic leadership and mentorship within a collaborative community, contributing to excellence in teaching, research, and service.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you must have a doctoral qualification in a relevant discipline and eligibility for registration with AHPRA or an appropriate self-regulated authority. A proven track record in tertiary teaching and curriculum development in mental health, as well as a demonstrated leadership ability to build strategic partnerships and drive innovation, is essential. Experience in academic administration and governance, along with active engagement in professional or community-based mental health initiatives, is highly valued.

Benefits
This is a full-time, continuing position located at Coffs Harbour, NSW; Gold Coast, QLD; or Lismore, NSW. Generous relocation support is available. Academic Level D offers a base salary range of $161,784 - $177,948 per annum, plus 17% employer superannuation. Total remuneration up to $208,199 includes flexible work arrangements, parental and carer's leave provisions, wellbeing initiatives, employee assistance programs, and professional learning opportunities.
