Job Title: Desktop Support Manager

About the Opportunity:

We are seeking an exceptional individual to lead our desktop support team. As a Desktop Support Manager, you will be responsible for establishing systems and processes that ensure we maintain the highest level of service quality.

The ideal candidate will have a well-developed management style, planning and scheduling expertise, and the ability to lead and motivate specialist staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Leadership:
    • Lead the desktop support team with a powerful vision, fostering a culture of development and growth.
    • Instil a culture of recognition within the team.
    • Manage the resources of the group effectively.
    • Manage recruitment and professional development.

Systems and Processes:

  • Establish best-in-class systems and processes with the highest level of service quality in mind.

Service Quality:

  • Maintain a consistently high level of service quality to all internal stakeholders.
  • Provide rapid and efficient resolution services to users with escalated technical issues.
  • Rectify faults within specified time limits or escalate as necessary.
  • Ensure escalation procedures are communicated and followed.
  • Ensure desktop performance and reliability are maintained within agreed service levels.
  • Regularly review and recommend changes to SLAs.
