Job Description
Our client is a family-owned business, with a strong focus on providing premium metal processing services for flat bed and tube laser cutting, metal folding, counter sinking, drilling and tapping, and edge rounding. This role provides an excellent opportunity to join one of Australia's leading metal processors in a purchasing/scheduling position.
Responsibilities
- Create effective daily schedules for production to maximize machine output.
- Collaborate with the Press Brake - Team Leader to allocate machine schedules where necessary.
- Participate in daily planning meetings to provide updates and status to post-sales.
- Serve as focal point for communication between Sales and Production.
- Measure Uptime on machines according to scheduled hours through Shiftworx.
- Investigate downtime reasons and machine inefficiencies.
- Previous experience in a customer service role.
- Demonstrated experience in customer sales, customer retention and customer dispute resolution.
- Understanding of root cause analysis/ investigation process.
- Interpersonal communications and dispute resolution skills.
- Intermediate computer skills.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritise your work.
- Attention to detail, time management & problem-solving skills.
Benefits
- Working Monday to Friday, 8 hours a day.
- Salary of $65k plus.
- Start time of 8.30 or 9am.
