About the Role

This position offers a unique chance to work as a Staff Specialist Rheumatologist in a dynamic regional hospital setting, contributing to educational programs and research initiatives.

The successful candidate will provide outpatient consultations to patients across Northern Tasmania, deliver specialist advice, engage in research, teaching, and quality improvement activities, and collaborate with the Rheumatology Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital.

About You
  • You must hold FRACP (Rheumatology) or equivalent qualifications and be eligible for Specialist Registration with AHPRA.
  • A strong commitment to patient-centered care, education, and continuous improvement is essential.
  • You should value collaboration within multidisciplinary teams.
Key Responsibilities

Deliver high-quality patient care through outpatient consultations and specialist advice.

Engage in research, educational programs, and quality improvement activities.

Work collaboratively with the Rheumatology Unit at the Royal Hobart Hospital.
