As an Aboriginal Health Worker/Practitioner, you will be responsible for leading health outcomes improvement initiatives, providing health services, and working collaboratively with the community and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement health programs and services that meet the needs of the Indigenous community.
  • Provide health assessments, community screening, and primary health care interventions.
  • Work with the community to identify health needs and develop solutions.
  • Collaborate with other health professionals to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Contribute to the development of policies and procedures that promote cultural safety and respect.
Requirements
  • Certificate III in Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander Primary Health Care Worker/Practitioner or working towards.
  • Current C Class Drivers Licence (QLD).
  • Current Blue Card.
  • Current annual CPR Certificate.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (every three years).
  • Current Criminal history check.
