**Job Summary**

As a skilled Handyperson, you will play a vital role in maintaining the smooth operation of our hotel's facilities. Reporting to the Chief Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the building, plant, equipment, fixtures, and fittings are in good working order.

**Key Responsibilities**

  • Assist the Chief Engineer in maintaining the hotel's facilities, including performing routine maintenance tasks and responding to maintenance requests.
  • Protect the asset and ensure it remains a functional, pleasant, and safe environment for all guests, visitors, and team members.
  • Operate a variety of equipment, including small hand tools, and perform tasks such as repairs, replacements, and adjustments.
  • Perform basic computer skills to record maintenance activities and update records as necessary.

**Requirements**

  • 12 months demonstrated experience in general building maintenance is preferred.
  • Previous experience working in hotel/resort/hospitality settings is preferred.
  • Qualifications in a trade are preferred.
  • Basic computer skills.
