Latrobe Community Health Service is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Therapist to join our team in delivering trauma-informed mental health care services to victim-survivors of family, domestic and sexual violence.
Key Responsibilities- Provide evidence-based trauma-informed psychological therapies and other appropriate wellbeing and social interventions to victim-survivors and their families.
- Collaborate with other services to facilitate coordination of care and assist with referral pathways.
- Develop and maintain relationships with community groups and organizations to increase awareness and engagement.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of program strategies and initiatives.
- Tertiary qualification in psychology, social work or counselling.
- Experience and/or comprehensive understanding of the family violence or mental health service system.
- Experience in delivering trauma-informed care and practice.
- Registration or eligibility with AHPRA, AASW or PACFA.
- A current Victorian Driver's Licence.
- A current Working with Children Check.
