About This Role

We are seeking dedicated individuals to provide direct care and support to clients with acquired injuries.

As a support worker, you will be responsible for ensuring that individual needs are met.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Providing personal care including showering, grooming and dressing
  • Administering medication as required
  • Preparing meals
  • Transporting clients
  • Making purchases on behalf of clients
  • Offering social support
  • Keeping accurate records and reporting as necessary
Requirements:
  • Australian residency status or valid working rights
  • A Certificate III in Individual Support (Aged Care or Disability) or currently working towards one
  • Experience in the disability industry
  • A current provisional or full Australian driver's licence and access to an insured, reliable motor vehicle
  • A current Tasmanian Working with Vulnerable People registration
  • A National Police Check (Working with vulnerable people)

Please note that successful applicants will be required to undergo a medical assessment before commencement and complete our structured Safeguarding Children Training program.
