This role is responsible for providing clinical leadership and expertise to support the development of clinical practice standards in Child and Family Health Nursing. The successful applicant will work between two sites, collaborating with an experienced team of clinicians.

">About the Opportunity

The Clinical Nurse Consultant promotes excellence in healthcare delivery, research, and professional leadership. They contribute to quality care by collaborating with healthcare providers, developing clinical practice guidelines, evaluating outcomes, and providing services that facilitate effective management.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide clinical leadership, apply evidence-based practice, and contribute to clinical standards and outcomes in CFHN
  • Promote service quality and support effective care management in CFHN
Requirements:
  • Current Authority to Practice as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA
  • At least 5 years full-time equivalent post-registration experience, with at least 3 years in Child and Family Health Nursing (CFHN)

This role requires a critical thinker with strong communication skills, able to deliver safe, compassionate, culturally responsive care. The successful applicant must be able to work effectively in a team and possess personable and professional interpersonal skills.
