About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and student-focused Secondary Generalist Teacher to join our team at Newton Moore Senior High School. As a key member of our teaching staff, you will be responsible for delivering engaging and relevant learning experiences to students in Years 7 to 12.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement lesson plans that cater to diverse learning needs and abilities
  • Provide academic and pastoral care to students, promoting a supportive and positive learning environment
  • Collaborate with colleagues to plan and deliver curriculum programs that meet the needs of students
  • Assess and report student progress, using data to inform instruction and improve student outcomes
  • Participate in professional development opportunities to enhance teaching practices and stay up-to-date with curriculum developments
Requirements
  • Hold a relevant teaching qualification and registration with the Western Australian College of Teaching
  • Be an Australian or New Zealand citizen, permanent resident, or have a valid visa with relevant work rights
  • Apply for a WA Working with Children Check and consent to a National Criminal History Check
