This community pharmacy is strategically located in an inner Brisbane suburb and is operated by an independent owner, ensuring a personalized approach to customer care.
Role Overview:
As the Pharmacy Operations Manager, you will be responsible for the daily management of the pharmacy, collaborating closely with another pharmacist and a compact front-of-shop team. This position is ideal for an early-career pharmacist eager to gain insights into pharmacy management and operations, with opportunities for mentorship. You will be involved in all aspects of pharmacy operations, including developing key performance indicators and managing inventory.
Key Responsibilities:
- Managing pharmacy operations effectively.
- Handling light prescription trade.
- Administering vaccinations.
- Overseeing methadone services.
Work Schedule:
Flexible working hours ranging from 30 to 38 hours per week, with options to choose your preferred days.
Qualifications:
- Valid Pharmacist registration with AHPRA.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a registered pharmacist.
- Demonstrated ability to manage pharmacy operations.
- Excellent communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Strong organizational skills.
Compensation & Benefits:
Hourly rate between $50 to $60 plus superannuation, commensurate with experience. There is a genuine opportunity for partnership with the independent owner for interested candidates.
