Job Summary

We are seeking casual educators who are studying or have a Certificate III, Diploma, or Early Childhood Teacher degree and are seeking flexible work arrangements. As a casual educator with Save Our Service, you will have the opportunity to work in a variety of settings, develop new skills and ideas, and contribute to the delivery of high-quality programs and services.

Key Responsibilities

  • Implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs for children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and staff
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of program policies and procedures
  • Participate in ongoing professional development and training
  • Work collaboratively with other staff members to achieve program goals and objectives

Requirements

  • ACECQA approved Certificate III, Diploma, or Early Childhood Teacher degree, or studying towards one
  • Available a minimum of 1 day per week
  • Valid work rights for Australia
  • Easy access to transport or willing to travel up to 30 minutes
  • Motivated to work with children to implement quality, engaging, and activity-based programs
  • First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Training highly regarded
  • Previous experience in a childcare environment preferred but not essential
  • Current Working with Children Check
