Job Title: Lead Educator and/or Education Assistant

Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in delivering high-quality care and education to children.
  • Actively participate in the implementation of the Belonging, Being, and Becoming, and My Time, Our Place Frameworks for Early Years and School-Aged Children.
  • Support the planning and implementation of engaging weekly curriculum and educational activities.
  • Assist with the documentation of children's development and activities.
  • Ensure compliance with the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations.
  • Support the supervision and care of children during before-school and after-school care programs.
  • Foster positive relationships with children, families, and school staff.
  • Help ensure a safe, engaging, and inclusive environment for all children.
  • Support and assist the team in ensuring that children's needs are met, and their development is encouraged.
  • Contribute to daily and weekly reflections with the team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation while ensuring confidentiality of personal information.
  • Support the team in maintaining high standards of practice and positive behavior management strategies.
  • Participate in staff meetings and professional development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • A Certificate III in Children's Services, Early Childhood Education, or similar (or equivalent).
  • A Diploma in Children's Services or Early Childhood Education is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Working with Children Check verification number.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Anaphylaxis, and Asthma Management training.
  • Food handling training.
  • Child Protection qualification.
  • Valid working rights in Australia (e.g., Australian citizen, permanent resident, or valid work visa).
  • National Police Check (within 6 months).
