Lead Production Team Member

We are seeking a highly skilled Lead Production Team Member to join our manufacturing facility. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading a small group to achieve production goals while maintaining a safe work environment.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Operate state-of-the-art chocolate moulding lines, including enrobing, depositing, mixing fillings and tempering chocolate
  • Take responsibility for end-to-end machine operations, ensuring quality control and GMP guidelines are met
  • Organise packing staff at end-of-line packing stations
  • Follow set recipes and methods to create chocolates to specification
  • Mix and blend ingredients to prepare fillings for depositing
  • Perform consistent heavy lifting of up to 25kg throughout shifts
  • Complete machine clean down and line changeovers efficiently
  • Maintain accurate paperwork and traceability records
  • Monitor stock levels and place orders when required

Requirements:

  • Previous experience in a manufacturing environment, ideally food or FMCG
  • Proven leadership or team leader experience within production
  • Strong technical and mechanical aptitude
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and a quick learning attitude
  • Ability to perform frequent heavy lifting and manual handling tasks
  • High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality standards
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Able to keep your work area clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards
