About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Accountant to join our team at FKG Group. As a key member of our finance team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial processes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly financial statements and shared service management accounts.
  • Contribute to the compilation of annual budgets and financial forecasts.
  • Analyse and interpret shared services monthly results, identifying areas for improvement and implementing corrective actions.
  • Handle ad-hoc monthly invoicing, debtors' reconciliation, collection, and cash flow reporting.
  • Review and allocate shared service expenditure, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Collaborate with shared service management to ensure accurate and efficient financial reporting.
  • Provide ad-hoc reporting as directed by the Finance Manager.
Requirements
  • Current enrolment in or recent completion of tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Commerce, or a related discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of practical experience in public practice or commercial accounting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office suite and accounting software.
  • The ability to prepare financial reports and budgets.
  • A results-driven approach with excellent attention to detail.
  • Experience in monitoring cash flow, debtors, creditors, and other financial indicators.
  • A proactive team player attitude.
  • Experience with Jobpac accounting software is highly advantageous.
