We are seeking an experienced Executive Chef to lead our culinary team and spearhead the creation of seasonal menus that showcase the best of local produce.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement seasonal menu concepts that align with our brand values and customer preferences.
  • Collaborate with our kitchen team to ensure efficient food preparation and presentation that meets high quality standards.
  • Maintain accurate records of inventory, ordering, and supply chain management.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations, health codes, and workplace safety standards.
  • Recruit, train, and develop staff members to enhance their skills and job satisfaction.
  • Foster a positive work environment by promoting open communication, teamwork, and continuous improvement.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 2 years of experience as an executive chef or sous chef in a similar establishment.
  • Certificate IV in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualifications.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of food hygiene, OH&S standards, and safe food handling practices.
  • Experience with vegan cuisine and commitment to providing allergen-friendly options.
  • Professional presentation, excellent communication, and leadership skills.
  • Able to work effectively under pressure and maintain a calm demeanor in fast-paced environments.
