Lead Advanced Oncology Care

This is a highly autonomous, clinically focused position that offers you the opportunity to lead within your specialty while supporting the wider team and driving quality care outcomes for oncology and haematology patients.

  • You will be part of an integrated, purpose-built cancer centre opened in 2015, providing medical oncology and haematology care, as well as functioning as an infusion centre for patients across the northern half of Hunter New England Local Health District.

As Nurse Practitioner – Oncology, you will deliver advanced and extended nursing care to patients undergoing cancer treatment, as defined by the agreed scope of practice.

The role is responsible for complex patient assessment, diagnosis, and the management of oncology-related health concerns, contributing to timely, coordinated care alongside medical and nursing colleagues.
