Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Grain Production Specialist to join our team at the Pinkenba malt plant in Brisbane.

This is a physically demanding role that requires standing, twisting, climbing stairs, lifting and moving weights. Shifts are Monday to Friday, commencing at 6am or 8am, with regular overtime available on weekends.

Duties include:

  • Cleaning and maintaining equipment and facilities
  • Loading and unloading trucks and containers
  • Sampling and testing grain for quality control
  • Completing check sheets and paperwork
  • Working autonomously to plan, organize and prioritize tasks
  • Previous experience in cleaning within a production environment
  • Ability to work in dusty and wet environments with proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
  • Maintaining high safety and hygiene standards
  • Reading standard operating procedures, following written and verbal instructions, and completing safety risk assessments
  • Ability to work shifts, including some weekend work
  • Forklift license beneficial

Able to read and follow procedures, complete paperwork and maintain accurate records. Previous experience in a similar role an advantage.
