We are seeking a highly skilled Drill Fitter to join our South Australian operations at the Byrnecut Group.

A full-service underground mining contractor, providing services to major mine owners throughout Australia and internationally, we operate a multi-million dollar fleet of specialized equipment across multiple continents and conditions.

The successful candidate will have extensive hydraulic knowledge and experience in maintaining and repairing heavy-duty equipment.

  • A competitive salary package of $85,000 - $110,000 per annum, based on experience.

The responsibilities of this role include:

  • Maintaining and repairing the sinking stage whilst working closely with the shaft mining crew.
  • Working with a positive and enthusiastic approach to achieve high standards in preventative maintenance and stage reliability.

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • Heavy Duty Trade Qualification (Australian recognized).
  • Sound hydraulic and electrical knowledge and experience.
  • Must have the right to work in Australia.
  • Current and valid Australian Drivers Licence.
  • Must be Working at Heights compliant.
  • Experience in an underground maintenance environment is preferred but not essential.
