We are seeking a highly skilled Partner Solutions Architect to join our team at Databricks. As a key member of our organization, you will work closely with our Consulting and System Integrator (C&SI) partners, teammates, and customers to develop and implement technical solutions that drive business value.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our C&SI partners, providing them with the necessary enablement to assist their clients in evaluating and adopting Databricks.
  • Engage with the partner technical community by leading workshops, seminars, and meet-ups to share knowledge and best practices.
  • Collaborate with our technical and sales teams to develop and deliver technical solutions that meet the needs of our customers.
  • Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in data engineering and cloud computing, and apply this knowledge to drive innovation and growth.
  • Develop and maintain expertise in Databricks' products and services, as well as open-source projects such as Apache Spark, MLflow, and Delta Lake.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of customer-facing experience working with external clients or partners across a variety of industry markets.
  • Core strength in either data engineering or data science.
  • Experience demonstrating technical concepts, including presenting and whiteboarding.
  • Experience developing architectures within a public cloud (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
  • Hands-on experience in SQL, Python, Scala, or Java.
  • Expertise in at least one of the following:
  • Data Engineering technologies (Ex: Apache Spark, Hadoop, Kafka).
  • Data Warehousing (Ex: SQL, OLTP/OLAP/DSS).
  • Data Science and Machine Learning technologies (Ex: pandas, scikit-learn, HPO).
