The Opportunity:

A leading hospital in Perth is seeking a skilled Consultant Geriatrician to join their team in the rehab & Geriatric Ward. This is a full-time role in the 20 bed Rehab ward, which also has 2 Geriatricians, 1 registrar, and 2 RMOs. The successful candidate will work closely with a young and diverse team, providing excellent care to patients and contributing to the hospital's commitment to inter-disciplinary learning and education.

Key Responsibilities:

The Consultant Geriatrician will be responsible for providing high-quality medical care to patients in the rehab and Geriatric Ward. This will include out-reach clinics and inpatient work, as well as contributing to the development of the ward's clinical programs and policies. The successful candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with a diverse team of healthcare professionals.

Requirements:

To be considered for this role, applicants should hold the FRACP or have completed their specialist training in a comparable medical setting. The successful candidate will have a strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and contributing to the hospital's mission and values.
