About the Opportunity

We have an excellent opening available for a skilled Biotechnology Specialist to join our Global Technology Centre.

The Culture Collection Team supports both global yeast plants and the Research & Development team by providing certified starter cultures and new technology development cultures.

This role will give you the opportunity to work with diverse teams and be exposed to the development and deployment of industrially significant products.

You will work alongside a dedicated team of technicians who regularly support each other in completing projects.

To be considered for the role, it is essential that you have a Bachelor of Science with majors in Microbiology, Biotechnology, Molecular Biology or Fermentation Science.

  • Experience in industrial microbiology, culture collections, PCR systems, molecular biology equipment and designing, developing and troubleshooting PCR-based products is required.
  • Prior experience in Yeast microbiology, genetic techniques and Yeast strain assessment would be beneficial.
