Team Overview
The Listings tribe within the Agency Services group is responsible for developing and managing the systems that facilitate REA's customer interactions across the organization.
The Listings Squads oversee the systems that drive our listing ingestion and publication processes—both legacy and modern—as well as the evolving Partner Platform APIs. They play a crucial role in guiding our customers from outdated systems to innovative solutions like Ignite. The primary programming languages utilized by the team include Scala and Ruby.
The Galvanise program aims to mitigate REA's risk associated with the aging Listings Platform while accelerating customer adoption of our flagship portal, Ignite.
Role Responsibilities
Engage in a 2-year fixed term contract.Collaborate with a team of six developers, a Business Analyst, a Quality Assurance specialist, a Delivery Lead, a Designer, and a Product Manager to achieve exceptional outcomes for Ignite and its clientele.Design, implement, test, and deploy innovative software solutions across various technologies and platforms, working throughout the full stack with a focus on UI, backend, and API development.Provide guidance and technical expertise to our federating teams, assisting in resolving technical challenges while ensuring adherence to our high-quality standards.Participate in an agile team environment alongside other developers, business analysts, quality analysts, product managers, and product designers, valuing iterative experimentation and data-driven decision-making.Contribute to the tech community through continuous learning, mentoring, and striving for improvement.Collaborate with product teams to understand business priorities, communicate technical options, report on progress, and share ideas.Candidate Profile
