About the Role
We're seeking a highly skilled Maintenance Supervisor to lead our team of Maintenance Technicians. As a key member of our operations team, you'll play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our facilities.

Key Responsibilities
  1. Supervise and lead Maintenance Technicians, providing guidance and direction to help them achieve their goals.
  2. Develop and implement Preventive Maintenance programs, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
  3. Act as a safety ambassador, promoting a culture of safety across the site.
  4. Manage maintenance-related purchase orders, ensuring adequate stock levels for maintenance.
  5. Install, maintain, and troubleshoot all facility systems, including power distribution and automated material handling equipment.
  6. Build and maintain strong relationships with site leadership and other stakeholders.

A Day in the Life
As a Maintenance Supervisor, you'll be responsible for leading a team to ensure that all equipment is running properly and that preventative maintenance is carried out to increase uptime. You'll work closely with the team to identify areas for improvement and implement changes to increase efficiency and productivity.

Requirements
  1. Formal trade qualification as Mechanical Fitter/Turner or current Electrical A-Grade license.
  2. Leadership experience in supervising multi-trade teams in a fast-paced manufacturing/distribution centre environment.
  3. Relevant experience in automation or material handling equipment environments.
  4. Demonstrated ability to multi-task and prioritize multiple projects and workload.
  5. Experience using CMMS to plan proactive maintenance and record reactive tasks.
  6. Experience in contractor management.

Preferred Qualifications
While not required, experience with PLC-based controls systems and statutory compliance requirements is highly desirable.
