As a Trainee Educator, you'll be part of our dedicated team working towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care. You'll have the opportunity to develop your skills and knowledge while making a positive impact on the lives of children and their families.

We offer a funded qualification, above award pay rate, study time and professional development opportunities, as well as up to 50% discount off childcare fees and up to 6 weeks paid parental leave.

About the Role
  • Maintain a safe environment for children, families, and team members
  • Comply with National Quality Standards (NQS) and Goodstart Policies, Procedures and Requirements
  • Build and maintain strong, positive relationships with children and families
  • Actively contribute to the education program in the room and the centre team
  • Support a culture of reflective practice and ongoing continuous improvement
  • Contribute to a professional and positive work culture

To be eligible for this role, you must not hold a previous Certificate or Diploma qualification completed outside of secondary school in the last 7 years. Additionally, you must have the willingness and motivation to study towards a Certificate III in Early Childhood Education & Care, appropriate Australian work rights, strong communication skills, good time management and organisational skills, ability to work well individually and as part of a team, enthusiasm and a positive attitude, flexible availability, interest in early years education, and a valid Working with Children Check.

Audited average salary for this position is $65,000 - $75,000 AUD per annum, based on location and experience.
