This role serves as a key liaison between the U.S. Navy and the Royal Australian Air Force (RAAF) in support of the P-8A Poseidon program.

The position is responsible for managing spare equipment and component stock, as well as facilitating stock requirement activities between the two organizations.

Main Responsibilities:

  1. Identifying supportability issues for Defense Logistics Agency (DLA) managed material.
  2. Providing guidance on Aviation Depot Level Repairable (AVDLR) components/spares.
  3. Liaising with the Joint Program Office regarding fiscal and material management.
  4. Engaging with logistics departments and aviation depots to improve internal management and operations.
  5. Initiating supply discrepancy reporting and resolving issues.
  6. Supplying inputs for development of obsolescence management strategies.
  7. Tracking/advising on DLA (9B) stock postures and estimated delivery dates.
  8. Generating lead time estimates and/or repair turnaround times (RTAT) for repairable assets/components (7R stock).
  9. FOLLOWING UP ON SHIPPING DELAYS AND DOCUMENTATION RELEASES.
  10. Assisting with RAAF documentation/requirement development/revisions.
