Job Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced lawyer to join our team in the therapeutic court setting.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for providing high quality legal services, conducting complex casework, advocating and providing legal information and advice to clients impacted by drugs and alcohol.
  • They will also assist the Senior Lawyer in mentoring and training other staff, as well as assist in the development and implementation of policies and strategies relating to the delivery of Drug Court services.

About You

We are looking for a seasoned lawyer who:

  • Has demonstrated experience dealing with individuals affected by drug and alcohol dependency and/or a diagnosis of a mental illness, intellectual disability, acquired brain injury or a neurological impairment.
  • Has strong knowledge and experience in the practice of criminal law, including negotiation and communication skills to liaise effectively with clients, internal and external stakeholders.
