Job Title:

A Driver Role for Safe and Efficient Transportation

Description:

The successful candidate will be responsible for transporting household goods safely and efficiently. They will load, transport, and unload shipments in a timely manner while adhering to company standards.

Responsibilities:
  • Transport household goods using a company vehicle
  • Lead the crew in loading shipment onto or off of the truck
  • Inspect shipments prior to loading for proper packing or wrapping
  • Accurately perform inventory of shipments
  • Assist as needed in loading trucks and/or containers for forward movement via interstate commerce
  • Perform pre-trip and post-trip safety inspections on vehicles and moving equipment
  • Maintain required documentation and paperwork for shipments, expenses, driver logs, and DOT regulations
Requirements:
  • Must be willing to travel locally, intrastate, and/or interstate
  • Ability to operate a box truck
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Ability to be on time and reliable; ability to meet deadlines
  • Knowledge of DOT regulations
