Despatch Coordinator

Job Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled Despatch Coordinator to oversee the efficient and effective delivery of a variety of furniture to customers.

This is a full-time opportunity, working 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.

• Maintain efficient and effective quality control of warehouse stock and delivery operations by liaising with the Despatch team and Store management.
• Supervise Despatch assembly and delivery staff, including mentoring and training new team members, and manage larger installation projects.
• Work hands-on within the team, including receipting, staging, and loading stock.
• Assemble office furniture such as task chairs, desks, and storage units in the warehouse and on-site if required.
• Dispatch orders to external freight providers.

• Experience as a Supervisor with leadership skills
• Diligent and disciplined work ethic
• Relevant warehouse experience
• Physical fitness for heavy lifting
• Technical skills and experience with tools for working with your hands
• An eye for detail and quality workmanship
• Ability to assemble furniture both on-site and in the warehouse
