Delivering Exceptional Pharmaceutical Care in a Regional Setting
About the RoleAs a pharmacist in this role, you will be part of a close-knit team delivering high-quality care to patients with diverse medical needs. You will rotate between clinical areas and dispensary across the year, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to review patient medications, provide clinical advice, and facilitate smooth transitions in medicine regimens.
Key Responsibilities- Provide expert clinical guidance to nursing and medical staff on patient medication management
- Support patients and carers in adjusting to changes in their medication regimens, ensuring optimal health outcomes
- Work independently while being open to seeking advice from colleagues when needed, fostering a culture of teamwork and knowledge sharing
We seek highly skilled and compassionate pharmacists who can think critically, possess excellent communication skills, and thrive in a dynamic regional environment. You should be able to work effectively in a team, think creatively, and adapt to changing circumstances while maintaining a patient-centered approach.
Requirements- Eligibility for registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Registration Agency
- Demonstrated fulfillment of the criteria for Grade 2 Pharmacist in accordance with the Health Employees' Pharmacists (State) Award
