The Role

We're seeking two permanent full-time Commercial Leasing Lawyers to join our team in Melbourne, who can manage high-volume and high-quality leasing work. In this role, you'll be responsible for managing your own files, preparing, negotiating, and progressing clients' leases. You'll interact directly with clients and negotiate with tenants and their lawyers. You'll collaborate closely with Partner Jakob Paartalu and his team, as well as other leading lawyers within our national team.

Requirements
  • Prior experience in a busy, high-volume leasing environment
  • Able to work collaboratively, sharing files and ideas as necessary
  • Exceptional client service skills and responsiveness
  • A keen eye for detail and ability to consistently produce accurate, high-quality work
  • An interest in contributing to process improvement and systems
  • The initiative and drive to take ownership of matters and client portfolios
  • Strong IT skills
  • A proactive approach and positive attitude
About the Team

The Sydney Real Estate team is led by experienced partners, each bringing a wealth of knowledge and expertise. The team provides a comprehensive range of property-related legal services to developers, investors, owners, landlords, property funds managers, listed property trusts, and government entities.

Our clients are sophisticated and savvy, spanning major institutional property investors, developers, landlords, and tenants across various sectors, including commercial, industrial, retail, and residential properties. Some of our notable clients include AMP, CBA, Challenger, Charter Hall, Dexus, Stockland, Frasers Property, GPT, Lendlease, Optus, Mirvac, Reading, and Vicinity.
