We're seeking a skilled Chief Medical Imaging Technologist to play a key role in strengthening our reputation as a 'Centre of Excellence' in the Carlton community. As a member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to work closely with our Operations Manager, Clinical Director, and other medical professionals to deliver outstanding patient care.

The ideal candidate will have proven experience as a Chief MIT or Deputy Chief, with leadership capabilities and qualities that inspire and motivate others. You'll be responsible for ensuring high-quality examinations are conducted safely and effectively, while also communicating effectively with patients and colleagues alike.

In this role, you'll have the opportunity to develop your leadership skills and contribute to our company's growth and success. We offer a competitive remuneration package, as well as opportunities for professional development and advancement.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Leading a team of medical imaging technologists to provide high-quality diagnostic imaging services;
  • Developing and implementing policies and procedures to ensure safe and effective delivery of services;
  • Collaborating with clinicians and other stakeholders to improve patient outcomes;
  • Maintaining accurate records and reporting on service performance.

Requirements include:

  • AHPRA or ASAR registration;
  • Proven experience in a similar leadership role;
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and work under pressure.
