This is a temporary cleaning role available at Miami State School.

About the School:

  • Miami State School is located on the Gold Coast and has a rapidly growing student body.

Responsibilities:

  1. Cleaning windows, pictures, doorknobs, taps, sinks, drinking fountains, lavatory basins, glassware, glass doors, and cupboards.
  2. Cleaning and sanitizing toilet facilities and sick bays.
  3. Cleaning and maintaining equipment.
  4. Cobweb and mildew control using extendable equipment as necessary.
  5. Cleaning of concrete, bitumen, asphalt, and paved surfaces.
  6. Disposal of rubbish and litter control including removal of material from drains and gutters between and/or surrounding buildings.
  7. Dusting including student and office furniture, equipment, and fans.
  8. Hosing.
  9. Removal of graffiti.
  10. Sweeping and vacuuming.
  11. Vinyl/timber floor maintenance including buffing, stripping, and polishing.

Requirements:

  • A current Queensland Government employee.
  • A Working with Children Clearance (blue card) issued by Blue Card Services.
