We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse to join our team in Katherine, Northern Territory. With a focus on delivering high-quality patient care, you will contribute to the effective management of patient care plans and work collaboratively with healthcare professionals.
Job SummaryThis is a unique opportunity for a dedicated and compassionate nurse to make a real difference in the lives of our patients. As a Registered Nurse, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care, managing patient follow-up procedures, and communicating effectively with doctors and other health professionals.
Key Responsibilities- Contribute to the effective management of patient care plan systems, including participating in patient care conferences and managing patient follow-up procedures.
- Use patient information system (Communicare/PCIS) to identify care needs and document patient consultation in patient's medical file.
- Assist Doctors and other health professionals with communication, treatment, and any advice relevant to a client's treatment.
- Assist in the provision of high-quality emergency care that at times is independent but with support from other health professionals.
- Actively encourage client/family/community to engage in practices conducive to optimising health.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A current AHPRA registration.
- More than five years' experience Clinical Nursing Practice.
- A current National Police Certificate.
- A current Northern Territory Driver's Licence.
- A current Working with Children's Clearance (Ochre Card).
We offer a competitive salary package, including:
- A base salary of $105,000 per annum.
- Relocation assistance and accommodation allowance for eligible applicants.
- Generous leave entitlements, including 6 weeks annual leave, 15 days personal leave, 1 week special leave, and study leave.

Katherine is a well-equipped regional town with a shopping centre featuring a supermarket and many specialty shops. The population of around 11,000 people enjoy easy access to the beautiful surroundings of Kakadu National Park, which offers some of the world's best waterfalls and bush walks.
