Field Service Engineer Job Overview

This role requires a professional with technical expertise in electro-mechanical and electrical systems. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent communication abilities, and experience working independently or as part of a team.

Our company is looking for someone to perform necessary repairs and preventive maintenance on designated equipment. This includes ensuring all repairs are completed satisfactorily within the required timeframe and providing technical assistance via telephone or at customer sites.

The selected candidate will assess and report on product performance, faults, and make recommendations for improvement. Additionally, they will ensure compliance with relevant policies, safety standards, and good housekeeping practices.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Perform repairs and maintenance on designated equipment

Requirements:

  • Tertiary degree in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or related fields
  • Hold QLD REL (restricted electrical licence) or eligible to get one
  • Solid technical experience in an electro-mechanical and/or electrical field
  • Previous experience in the healthcare industry is ideal but not necessary
  • Understanding of servicing to Australia Standard AS3551
  • Valid and unrestricted Driver's license with access to a vehicle
  • Exceptional communication and relationship-building skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities
