Senior Product and Financial Value Professional

About the Role:

Our organization is seeking a seasoned professional to assume a key role in shaping the commercial strategy of our Commercial team. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in planning, creating, and delivering complex documents, financial models, or energy market modeling analyses.

The successful candidate will be responsible for collaborating closely with private sector investors to establish trust-based relationships, designing commercially viable products and contracts, tender design & end-to-end delivery of the tender process for the procurement of energy infrastructure for NSW, and working alongside EnergyCo and other government partners to ensure REZ access rights become tendable products.

  • Supporting Senior Managers and General Managers in planning and executing critical aspects of company tenders, including commercial designs, tender collateral, and tender analysis, focusing on financial assessments of bids and product design
  • Preparing high-quality written materials to facilitate tenders, inform, and educate stakeholders
  • Conducting advanced commercial and financial analysis before and during the assessment, including policy positions with high levels of future uncertainty

Key Responsibilities:

  • Developing an understanding and applying high standards of integrity and probity requirements in all processes
  • Proactively identifying opportunities to enhance efficiency in risk and compliance management processes
  • Supporting the design of financial value assessment frameworks and energy market modeling by selecting key parameters

The ideal candidate will have a strong interest in, and curiosity about, the energy transition, and a proven track record of delivering complex projects.
