- Assist with approving and processing accounts payables, ensuring compliance with financial policies.
- Produce performance reports using Excel and PowerPoint, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Forward settlement reports to external partners and request payment invoices, maintaining strong relationships.
- Administer and analyze data to ensure compliance with contracts and financial policies, identifying areas for improvement.
- Support company administration, including data entry and analysis for onboarding, members of the team, and offboarding, ensuring seamless transitions.
- Assist with ad-hoc analytics projects, applying analytical skills to drive business growth.
- Extreme attention to detail and accountability for tasks, with a strong focus on accuracy and efficiency.
- Proven accounting or bookkeeping experience, ideally in a similar role, with a strong understanding of financial processes.
- Experience working in a technology or fintech environment, desired but not essential, with a willingness to learn and adapt.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines, with a strong sense of prioritization.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and creatively.
- Advanced skills using Microsoft Office, with a strong proficiency in Excel.
- Exceptional familiarity and skill using Microsoft Excel, with the ability to build and operate large spreadsheets.
- Experience working with Xero, with a strong understanding of its features and functionality.
- Confidence in ability to regularly follow-up with team members and partners, to obtain desired information or outcomes.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex financial concepts.
- Preferred Academic qualifications: Tertiary qualification in a relevant discipline such as Finance, Bookkeeping, Accounting, desired but not essential.
