Job Title: Software Development Engineer Lead

At Autodesk, we are seeking a highly skilled Software Development Engineer Lead to design and develop scalable software solutions. With a strong background in computer science, excellent problem-solving skills, and the ability to work effectively in a team environment, you will be instrumental in driving the success of our software development team.

About the Role:
We are looking for an experienced engineer who can lead cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements, design, develop, and test software programs using Agile methodologies. As a key member of our software development team, you will also be responsible for identifying and troubleshooting software defects and implementing corrective actions, staying up-to-date with emerging software trends and technologies, working closely with product managers to develop software roadmaps and product backlogs, participating in code reviews, contributing to the improvement of the codebase, utilizing version control systems to manage code changes and collaborate with team members, developing and maintaining technical documentation to ensure transparency and knowledge sharing, collaborating with QA engineers to identify and prioritize software testing cases, and participating in sprint planning and review meetings to ensure alignment with project goals.

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize software requirements.
- Design, develop, and test software programs using Agile methodologies.
- Identify and troubleshoot software defects and implement corrective actions.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging software trends and technologies.
- Work closely with product managers to develop software roadmaps and product backlogs.

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field.
- At least 5 years of experience in software development, preferably in a leadership role.
- Strong understanding of software development methodologies, including Agile and Scrum.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
