About the Role:

We are seeking an experienced Enrolled Nurse who has a passion for emergency care and a commitment to providing exceptional patient outcomes.

The successful candidate will have strong clinical skills, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver high-quality patient care in a dynamic and challenging environment
  • Work collaboratively as part of a multidisciplinary team to achieve positive patient outcomes
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of evidence-based practices and policies
  • Maintain accurate and comprehensive records of patient care
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a culture of safety and excellence

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA) as an Enrolled Nurse Division 2 (without notation)
  • Demonstrated experience and clinical skills in mental health nursing as an enrolled nurse working with people with serious mental health illness and physical illness related to them
  • Demonstrated ability to organise and prioritise work
  • Demonstrated evidence of being able to provide recovery oriented, trauma informed person-centred care, family inclusive and culturally sensitive for persons accessing mental health services
  • Demonstrated effective communication skills – written and verbal
  • Demonstrated commitment to professional development
