As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for leading a skilled team of maintenance staff to ensure the highest standards of garden maintenance are met and exceeded.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in horticulture, excellent leadership skills, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients. If you are a motivated individual who is passionate about green spaces and has strong leadership capability, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead and direct a team of maintenance staff to ensure tasks are completed efficiently.
  • Foster a positive and productive work environment that promotes teamwork and collaboration.
  • Develop and implement effective schedules and priorities to ensure timely completion of garden maintenance activities.
  • Provide guidance, mentorship, and training to the team to enhance their horticultural skills and safety practices.
  • Regularly inspect garden areas to assess their condition, identify improvements needed, and implement corrective actions.
  • Interact with clients to understand their preferences, address concerns, and provide updates on maintenance activities.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Horticulture or Parks & Gardens.
  • Working with Children Check, or willingness to obtain.
  • White Card.
  • Valid Drivers' license.
  • Team player with excellent communication skills.
