About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Development Engineer to join our Internet Edge team at Amazon. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for designing and architecting networks that meet the highest standards of performance, availability, and security.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network topologies and architectures that meet customer requirements
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration with other AWS services
  • Develop and maintain high-level design documents and technical specifications
  • Work with vendors and internal stakeholders to influence technology roadmaps and drive innovation
  • Provide technical support and guidance to operations teams to ensure smooth deployment and operation of network designs
About the Team

The Internet Edge team is responsible for connecting Amazon to the global Internet, delivering an Internet connectivity experience that sets the global standard for performance, availability, security, and cost. We work closely with customer and stakeholder teams to ensure that our network designs meet the needs of our customers and partners.

Requirements
  • 4+ years of experience with major internet routing protocols
  • 4+ years of experience working in a Linux/Unix environment
  • 1+ years of experience with automation scripting using Python, Bash, Shell, and/or Perl
