Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical management of patients under the supervision of a Consultant Medical Practitioner.
  • Support junior medical staff in the management of acutely unwell patients.
  • Assist with the management of chronic long-term general paediatric patients.
  • Participate in the after-hours on-call roster.
About the Department

The Department of Paediatrics at the Canberra Hospital is a major teaching centre for the ACT and surrounding regions. We provide general paediatric services to approximately 450 inpatients and 1000 outpatients each month.
