We are seeking an IT Infrastructure Specialist to join our team in Australia on a permanent basis.

About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for planning, designing, configuring, maintaining, and supporting server infrastructure.

  • Manage a Microsoft exchange server
  • Set up user accounts and mailboxes along with backup, security, and restoring files
  • Perform routine server maintenance
  • Administer Windows Server and DNS
  • Manage print services, including print servers, print queues, and printer administration
  • Build and manage servers, as well as storage management
  • Identify and diagnose errors and resolve them logically in a short timeframe
  • Resolve complex hardware and software issues

Key Skills and Qualifications

  • Windows Server and Desktop Operating Systems, Microsoft Exchange, Active Directory, Skype for Business, VMware suite, Microsoft System Centre suite (SCCM and SCOM) and various other software applications
  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
  • Experience designing, implementing and/or administering infrastructure platform solutions using VMware vSphere
  • Understanding of IT Service Management concepts
  • Designing, implementing and/or administering storage solutions using SAN technologies
  • Working with complex networking solutions on physical and/or virtualized platforms
  • Ability to apply ITIL v3 Foundation concepts within the workplace
