Cleaning Team Member

The Cleaning Team Member is a vital role in our organisation.

Our team members are responsible for ensuring the centre remains clean and safe for customers and staff. This involves working independently to complete tasks efficiently while maintaining high standards of cleanliness and presentation.

We currently have casual cleaning positions available at our Macquarie Centre Shopping Centre site. If you have commercial or retail cleaning experience and would like to be part of a team that makes a difference, then we would love to hear from you.

This position is paid in accordance with industry standards. We offer ongoing training and development opportunities to help you grow your skills and career.

To succeed in this role, you will need to be well presented, proactive and able to work well on your own. You should also have prior commercial or retail cleaning experience (on-the-job training will be provided). An understanding of chemical handling procedures and proper cleaning techniques (or willingness to learn) is essential.

You should also have good knowledge of and a commitment to safe working practices. This includes being physically fit to carry out standard duties and able to walk for lengthy periods. Good listening skills and the ability to follow instructions are also necessary.

In addition, you will need to be able to communicate effectively in verbal and written English. Ability to work flexible hours and public holidays is preferred but not mandatory.
