Energy Infrastructure Manager Role

A key position in overseeing commercial and contractual obligations for power connections, ensuring efficient and compliant transmission outcomes.

This involves managing connection agreements, grid access, stakeholder engagement, agreement performance optimization, and supporting commercial and regulatory activities to drive successful transmission results.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Manage relationships with network service providers, market operators, and regulatory bodies to facilitate grid access and compliance.
  • Lead new power connections, including generation and consumption, ensuring technical and commercial requirements are met.
  • Oversee connection agreements, ensuring alignment with operational goals, commercial terms, and regulatory obligations.
  • Act as the primary interface between stakeholders, market services, and internal teams to streamline connection processes and resolve issues.
  • Support commercial negotiations, regulatory submissions, and network planning activities related to grid connections.
  • Monitor connection compliance, manage agreement lifecycles, and proactively mitigate risks and disputes throughout the connection process.
Requirements:
  • Strong technical and commercial background in transmission, power systems, or equivalent industry experience.
  • Experience in managing grid connections within the energy sector, particularly across generation and large-scale user projects.
  • Proven track record working with network service providers, market operators, and regulatory bodies.
  • Skilled in negotiating, executing, and managing complex connection agreements.
  • In-depth understanding of regulatory frameworks, compliance requirements, and industry standards for power connections.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with a focus on delivering efficient, commercially sound connection outcomes.
