Director of People and Culture Job Overview

The Director of People and Culture serves as a trusted strategic advisor to the Principal and other Executive leaders, providing expert guidance on human capital management.

Main Responsibilities:
  1. Develop and implement staff engagement and development strategies that align with the institution's purpose, strategic vision and cultural values.
  2. Ensure compliance with relevant laws and regulations, fostering a positive work environment that supports the organization's mission and values.
  3. Play a key role in recruitment, advising staff and leadership on HR matters and providing guidance on talent acquisition and retention.
  4. Collaborate with the Principal and relevant Executive members to address critical HR issues as they arise.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant Education and Work Experience
  • Demonstrated expertise in HR management, including talent development and employee engagement
  • A strong track record of implementing effective HR strategies and programs
  • An ability to work collaboratively with stakeholders at all levels
