Job Title: Early Childhood Teacher

Job Description:

The Rainbow Hut Early Learning Centre seeks a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Teacher to join our team. As a key member of our educational team, the Early Childhood Teacher will be responsible for developing and implementing high-quality educational programs that cater to the individual strengths and interests of children.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement a curriculum that aligns with the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF) and National Quality Standards (NQS).
  • Monitor and assess children's developmental progress, maintaining accurate records.
  • Lead and mentor early childhood educators, guiding their professional growth and ensuring the delivery of quality education.
  • Build strong relationships with families, encouraging active participation in their child's education.
  • Ensure the centre complies with regulatory requirements, including health, safety, and child protection standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education or equivalent.
  • Current Working With Children Check.
  • Current First Aid Certificate, including CPR and Anaphylaxis training.

Experience:

  • Proven experience working with children in an early childhood setting.
  • Sound knowledge of EYLF, NQS, and other relevant regulations and standards.

Skills:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
  • Effective time management and organisational skills.
  • Strong understanding of child development principles and practices.
