Wall and Floor Tiler Job Description

We are seeking an experienced wall and floor tiler to join our team in Perth. As a fast-growing business, we take pride in delivering high-quality service to our customers and providing a positive work environment for our employees.

  • The successful candidate will be responsible for driving our company vehicle, adhering to all road regulations with fuel, tolls, and uniform provided.
  • They will have access to all necessary tools and equipment and receive payment on a weekly basis.
  • The candidate will follow a pre-set schedule that is provided with full administrative support.
  • They will meet with customers to quote new jobs and manage their day and jobs via our app.
  • They will work in both residential and commercial settings.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect surfaces, measure, mark, and lay out work.
  • Remove old tiles, grout, and adhesive.
  • Prep surfaces by filling holes and cracks, cleaning surfaces, and spreading adhesive onto prepared surfaces and tiles.
  • Set tiles in position and clean and remove excess grout.
Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a tiler.
  • A current licence to practice as a Wall and Floor Tiler, including a White Card and Driver's Licence.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to provide exceptional customer service.
  • Reliability, a strong work ethic, and a positive attitude.
  • The ability to work well under pressure and be supportive within a team environment.
  • Fluent English language skills.
  • A police check.
