Heavy Vehicle Mechanic Opportunity in Brisbane


">About the Role: We are seeking an experienced and reliable Heavy Vehicle Mechanic to join our busy workshop in Brisbane. This is a full-time, permanent opportunity with consistent hours and a supportive team environment.">

As a Heavy Vehicle Mechanic, you will be responsible for servicing, maintaining, and repairing a fleet of heavy vehicles including Prime Movers. Your duties will include diagnosing faults and performing repairs on engines, braking systems, hydraulics, and electrical components. You will also conduct regular inspections to ensure all vehicles meet safety standards and work closely with the workshop team to support efficient operations.

  • Qualifications: Qualified Diesel Mechanic (Cert III in Heavy Commercial Vehicle Mechanical Technology or equivalent)">
  • Experience: Experience with heavy vehicle fleets, especially Prime Movers">
  • Skills: Strong fault-finding skills across mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems, ability to work independently and meet time-sensitive deadlines">
  • Leadership: Leadership experience preferred (for 2IC role)">

">What We Offer: A competitive hourly rate based on experience, full-time, permanent role, and 8-10 hour shifts, Monday to Friday. A medical check is required prior to commencement.">
