We are seeking a skilled professional to join our team as a Healthcare Quality Improvement Specialist. This role will be responsible for supporting quality improvement initiatives across the organization, including accreditation preparedness, clinical risk management, and patient safety.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in clinical risk management and/or quality programs within a large health service. They will also possess a strong understanding of accreditation requirements, including the National Standards.

  • Responsibilities:
  • Supporting quality improvement activities across the organization;
  • Assisting department managers with ongoing accreditation preparedness;
  • Providing advice and education to staff regarding quality and patient safety incident management;
  • Collaborating with healthcare professionals to deliver safe and effective care;
  • Ensuring responsive patient feedback and proactive patient experience improvement processes.

Requirements:

  • A qualification as a Registered Nurse;
  • Extensive experience in clinical risk management and/or quality programs;
  • A strong understanding of accreditation requirements;
  • Experience working with professionals to deliver quality and clinical audits that improve patient outcomes;
  • Highly developed analytical skills for producing reports and presentations.
